Focus For Good (FFG) has a deep connection to the underlying work of the non-profit world and recognizes the inherent imbalance of non-profit access to technical and expert business services. Access to consultancy is often out of reach while mainstream consultancies can be tied up with the imperative to "grow," in order to increase corporate profits.
FFG hopes to support a leveling of this imbalance by offering expert consultancy to non-profit organizations by cutting out the corporate middle-management layer.
Focus For Good is an umbrella organization that is committed to transparent partnerships between field level experts and non-profit agencies.
We are comprised of independent consultants who are experts in their fields of data analysis, technical support, software needs analysis and implementation, E-learning design and staff training.
Each consultant is not only an expert in one or more of these areas, but has professional tenure within their own field(s) resulting in mature, considered and thoughtful approaches to a client's needs and concerns.
At Focus For Good (FFG), our collaborative approach ensures that each engagement is led by the primary expert, who then uses a project management model to pull in other analyst/tech experts as indicated by project and client needs.
Each project consultant is authorized to act as an agent of FFG in setting terms with the client and acting in real time to solve problems, generate ideas and implement solutions.
Our model eliminates the intermediator in consultancy relationships, resulting in a lead expert whose role it is to ensure a successful end product. Our experts conduct the majority of the actual work, while supporting the overall needs of the project and pull in additional resources from the FFG team as needs arise.
Clients are billed for interactions and actual work conducted by the experts involved in their project, with very minimal administrative overhead.
